    "best camera in this price range?"

    Pros: where to start?

    Cons: battery life

    Summary: I wanted to correct a point about Mr. Greenwald's review. This camera does have a manual focus mode. In the Manual mode, press the macro button 3 times - a manual focus scale then appears on the display.

    Actually, manual focus can be used in other modes as well, by pressing the macro button until "MF" and the scale appears in the display.
