Pros: Image quality, build quality, clean menu, anti-shake built-in
Cons: Slow and noisy auto-focus kit lenses
Summary: The image quality of this two year old slr is on-par with the Canon Xsi and Nikon D60 below ISO 800 and the build quality is better. The image loses some detail at ISO 800 and 1600 but this hardly noticable. Compared to the Sony a200, I prefer having the second dial to change ISO, focus settings, etc. Bought at Bestbuy with kit 18-70mm lens for $420 which is about half the price of the D60 and Xsi. I got a Tameron 70-300mm 1:2 macro lens for another $180. The auto-focus is a little noisy and slow, but the image quality and range is very good. And you still have several hundred dollars in savings compared to buying this year's Canon or Nikon model. Best bang for your buck without question.
