"Super DSLR"
Pros: IQ, tiltable screen, real liveview, excellent DNR, in body stabilizer
Cons: Flash can get closed eyes
Summary: Real underrated by the reviewer and I think, not understood. I had a Nikon D300 that didn't get any better pictures. The light metering is much better then the Canon 40D, which is much more expensive, and right on par with the Nikon 300D.
It takes a little time to know it, but it works flawless. Even high sun scenes with lots of shadow don't throw the lighting of. Even with a cheap kitlens, it's just as sharp as the 40D or D300, per pixel. BUT, you got much more pixels! Sony is going for gold!
The flash is not so great, because it pre flashes, leaving a lot of people with their eyes closed. shooting manual flash or getting a Metz 58 is a solution.
The flash does deliver perfectly lit photos, as if it was daylight, with no hard shadows or ugly skin spots.
