"It took a while to go back to an SLR, and I'm so glad I waited for this camera"
Pros: 14.4 megapixels, live-view lcd framing, substantial/well-made feel, great price
Cons: proprietary flash connection
Summary: I absolutely love this camera. It took me a while to buy my first digital SLR. I've had Sony's in the past with my last one being the DSC-F828. I always end up back with Sony. One thing that made me hesitate on switching to a DSLR is that I've got quite used to framing my photos through the lcd screen and didn't feel comfortable abandoning that method and going back to using a viewfinder. The 350 gives me the freedom to use either, and the lcd tilts so I can mimic the 828's ability to rotate the body in overhead or low level photos. I'm used to Sony's vibrant colors and sharp image quality. So, this SLR does it all for me. I'm so happy I waited for Sony to release this camera. I absolutely love it.
