Pros This camera is sleek, compact, and has a nice, big lcd screen. This camera is great for general use.
Cons It does lack some "pro" qualities. If you are i need of a specialized camera, then pass this by, but do enjoy its silver finish.
Summary I have had the camera for about a week now. It hasnt pulled anything weird on me, memory card hasnt broke, and has stayed silver. The LCD screen does do a good job avioding smudges, but i would recomend not touching it. Overall this camera is amazing. It has photos, movies(yes movies), and great display for its price. If you want a compact, sleeky silver friend that can do most anything, buy this product.
Pros Design, image Quality, LCD screen
Cons Why is the USB connecter on the bottom so you have to scratch up your baby?!
Summary In my opinion this camera is great. It takes great pictures and its small enough to fit in my pocket. Anybody who is an occasional shooter should really look into this camera from Sony.
Pros Slim, quick start-up time, huge 2.5 LCD screen, $250
Cons Does feel cheaper then it should, huge screen means bigger chance of scratches, replay button is above the screen making the screen smudged, Silver lining gets smudged
Summary The DSC-W50 is a great ultra-compact point and shoot camera, with 6.0 mega pixels it should be good enough for anyone who wants to print 8x10 photos and smaller.
For its small size the layout is pretty good, great start-up time and with it's 32mb internal memory its a working camera out of the box.
Now for the bad stuff...
Sure it has a beautiful 2.5 LCD screen, but that means that its more prone to scratches and smudges (screen covers do the trick, but it means more $$$).
More about the screen, the review/replay button is right above the screen, with where your thumb should be, pressing the review would mean your thumb to come in contact with the screen (meaning smudges, but screen protectors )
Another thing that I look at is prior to me getting the DSC-W50 I had a DSC-P73 (sadly broke when sand got caught in the gears that open the lens), and besides the obvious megapixel difference nothing seemed to be different (I usually shoot from VGA to 3-4mp pics)
Pros Tiny Size, Big Screen, Nimble
Cons weak outdoor or distance pictures
Summary I enjoy my cybershot for the reasons that I bought it for. It's very compact so it classically fits and hides in any pocket. It's easily operable and quickly turns on to take quick pictures.
Some of the drawbacks include it not being the actually versatile digital you may be looking for. It's not very great on outdoor pictures. It's zoom also could be a little better.
However, for evening out with friends indoors its excellent because of its adjustable flash features, huge memory capacity, and small size.
Pros Easy menu config.- Easy to use- Great Picture Quality
Cons Nothing bad right now
Summary Great Camera- very small to carry around. Looks nice- easy to use- pictures turn out great. Long lasting batter life that recharges instead of always buying AA batteries. Also you can make your own videos with sound! I really recommend this camera to everyone.
