"Lots of positives with this camera"
on by Bob MerrimanPros Super sharp images. Great low light capability. I like the slim, light-weight of the camera
Cons Control buttons (shutter and preview) are small and sometimes awkward to operate.
Summary I would like more of a feel to the controls both in operation and engagement, since they are so small. However, the pictues I've taken have been highly satisfying. Photos at my daughter's recent wedding using available light were great, great, great. My ex-wife praised them over the pro photographer. Wow! I do wish for more zoom though. 3X is not enough...for me.

"camera looks good"
on by sateeshyPros Pictures are blurred
Cons over all ok
Summary I bought Sony DSC-W90b just before my son 1st birthday and 60% of the birthday photos are blurred I am very much disappointed after seeing the photos I am not sure is it the problem of camera or the person used

"Camera is great until it stops working. Service hacks!"
on by iwilliams77Pros camera was great form factor, good clear pictures. memory card compatibility is always an issue, but was overlooked.
Cons just stopped working. sent it in for service, told it had 'corrosion' therefore it would cost $111 vs. free under warranty. Asked how it could have corroded, told taking it from a cold climate to a warm climate....pls pay $111
Summary The service experience was horrible. Hung up on the first time while waiting for the agent to get more information, so back in line I go. Basically no data on why my camera stopped working, or how corrosion happened or could have happened, except that every person north of Houston better not take their camera to a warmer place...I don't think they thought through the fact their assessment to void my warranty without any explanation would have caused any customer some heartburn (especially when camera lives in a case on a shelf!).
My new camera won't be a Sony.... -
"Form factor good, pictures not so good."
on by emptyoPros Great menu interface, sleek design
Cons Horrific low-light pictures, special USB interface for computer
Summary I bought this camera yesterday, returned it today. I don't typically write things like this, but unless you are shooting in bright, outside light, the pictures this camera takes are *horrible*. Dark, low level. And I'm talking about mid-afternoon ambient light inside, not dusk "just-before-the-sun-goes-down" light. I bought a Canon SD 750 for about the same cash (I got some money back, actually) and it takes GREAT shots in the exact same environment. Granted, I might have been able to tweak some settings on the camera, or use ISO mode for the inside shots, but it's supposed to be a point and shoot, so I didn't understand why I should do that. I don't recommend this one, folks.

"The best camera"
on by foxrollPros Very big display; Excellent on-camera software; Long battery life; Perfect size; Clear pictures; MPEG videos; and many other
Cons None as I know
Summary My previous digital camera was Canon S410. I thought that camera was nice but I decided to get a new one with bigger LCD. I am soooo impressed with this camera. Every feature is way better from what my Canon camera has. Excellent software, easy to use and so many features! It takes a while to change its small battery but it lasts for very long time.
