Summary I've shopped for a week straight in town for a good camera I could grow with for awhile until I was ready to move into a DSLR in 2-3 years and to document photos of automotive repair work I'm doing on my pickup. I wanted something that would take excellent close ups of the damage and rust shown on the metal of the truck but later on be able to enjoy taking photos of the outdoors and landscape and my pets. I fell in love with the WX9 when I first played with it at the store. But I wanted to keep searching around and online. I was very hesitant to buy this because this is my very first camera and it is a major purchase for me right now. I had the opportunity to play around with many, many cameras but this one felt like "home". I was iffy on the whole red saturation thing, but everything else outweighed that problem (and a photo specialist said I'd be able to take care of it through Photoshop). Once I finalized my purchase, I realized that I made the right choice. This camera is near perfect and SO easy to learn and use. From all the cameras I have played around with (thoroughly) and read reviews on, this one was the best. This is definitely worth it to me. If you're simply looking for a "professional look" on photos but want something simple enough to point and shoot, this is it. Really.

Cons Haven't really found any cons yet. I did have to change the Hi-def settings for video recording because it was on a setting that didn't work with my Mac. But now I can record in 1080p and upload on my Mac. I haven't had a problem with the size of the came
Summary I couldn't be more happier with this camera. The colors in my pictures are so clear and the pictures themselves are so sharp. I had to express my happiness for this camera after seeing the previous reviews just bashing the camera. Try it out first, then come to your own conclusion.

Cons I haven't found any CONS yet. I've had this camera about a few months and still haven't had any complaints!
Summary All in all. I would say this camera is probably one of the best point and shoot cameras that I've ever had. I am a camera collector (DSLRs and Point and Shoot) and this one is by far one of my favorites!

on by crazymarePros Small enough to fit everywhere. The pictures are great. I upload them to a site and they are very clear. It does a lot of things for a simple point and shoot. Quick reset. Haven't missed a picture. Haven't tried the 3D yet. I'll update when I do.
Cons Haven't really found anything just yet that I would consider a CON....We'll see.
Summary If you are looking for a great point and shoot camera this works great. I love that it is small enough to fit in my pack packs and purses. The picture quality is good, I haven't blown anything up or tried to wallpaper my walls with a picture from it yet using this camera but I still think it is a great camera. I've used it in differnt situations and the pictures came out great.
I haven't tried the 3D yet....Get back to you on this.
The movie option works great.
I like that it has an HDMI port. Thats a nice plus.
The options for auto, superior auto, etc help in taking great pictures.
The price seems to be fair for this product. I recevied it as a gift so I'm not really being fair here i guess.
Its a Sony product and they make good quality products. Look into this first. Compare as always. Shop around and as always check here.

Cons I have had the camera for six months and it already broke. Two days ago it worked fine and then with no warning, the lense stopped opening up. The customer service was terrible. They were difficult to understand and completely useless.
Summary DO NOT BUY A SONY DIGITAL CAMERA or any other electronics product, hey don't stand behind their merchandise. I will be buying a CANNON or NIKON next time.
