"Good price for a good brand and quarlity camera."
Pros: Good brand, Good price, long bettery life, clear LCD, 7.2 MP
Cons: Problems with close up picture and use up alot memory space.
Summary: I am a full time ebay seller, I took over a thousand pictures within a week. I had bought three different model of DC in the past week for ebay item pictures, they are the Casio Z55 and the Sony T1. The best think I like about the casio z55 is the big LCD Display long battery lifes and pictures quality, but after I took about 300 pictures, I loaded the pictures files to my computer and all the pictures files currupted than I go back to Circuity city to exchange for the Sony T1. The T1 is good in size and look, but bad in pictures quality show white spot, extreamly weak flash light as a real DC not cell phone camera and short bettery lifes even I did the version 2 firmware updates the problems still exist, so after all the hassle I exchage the new Sony P200, it has long battery life, big enough 2" LCD, 7.2MP stronge flash and good picture quality, new model from sony avaliable in retail store. I use it as normal to take pictures of my ebay item after I took about 5 pictures I find out some serious issue about this camera which I hope sony would firmware update to fix it in the near future. When you take close up of and object with flash light on it turn out to be a bright white screen or totally black screen sometimes you have to keep changing the setting like the flash power or the White Balance to solve these problems. When you take a picture of a green object the color would be different than the color of the real object you a taking, it happens on most of the DC out the market now so I am ok with it since my DC is not the only one having this problems. The last problem I have with this camera which I want to share is the memory usage is very high since I am just taking pictures for ebay items, I don't need very high MP so I set it to 1MP while others brand like the casio z55 using the same size and same setting of 256mb SD and The sony P200 using the 256mb of MS the Casio can take about 1500 of pictures, and the sony can take about 350 pictures wired memory management or maybe I had done something wrong with the setting, but if the setting is easy enough the problem should not be exist.
My conclosion is if you need a Good brand camera, long batter lifes, user friendly camera, not to take close up pictures. Sony DSC-P200 will be the best choice. One last think I would like to mention is if you are heavy user of a DC make sure you buy the 3 years warrenty plan from the retail store you purchase your DC, you will feel lucky about purchasing it after 1 years heavy use of your investment really worths it, because you can get a brand new better newer DC for the equal price you paid 2 years ago.
