"Great small camera with little button/shutter lag"
Pros: Small, quick startup, great images,... did I say small !!!
Cons: Poor low light/flash performance. Tiny stock memory card.
Summary: I just bought this camera with three absolute requirments. 1- very small 2- easy to operate 3- takes the image when I push the button with little lag time. All three of these are easily met with this camera. I dropped it in my pocket and spent a week in Mexico. I know I took at least twice as many images as I would have with my DSC-S85 because I ALWAYS had it with me. It takes only about one second to start up (really). The minimal lag from pressing the button to taking the image is fantastic. Almost immediate. My DSC-S85 sometimes has a second or more from pressing the button. Loosing the shot. This was NOT an issue with the T33. It requires Memory stick DUO cards, so my older cards won't work in it, but the new cards can work in regular 'Memory Stick' cameras via an adapter sleeve. Realistically, the only issue I have with the camera is its poor low light and flash capability. You literally need to be within about 5-6 feet to use the flash effectively. I can understand this due to the very small size of the camera and bulb. But it is somewhat disappointing. The well lit image quality is great, and once you remember that the lens is in the top left corner of the camera and get your fingers out of the way, you are ready to have some fun. I highly recommend this camera for mainly outdoor, point and shoot images. This is mostly what I wanted it for, and it does a superb job. Inside and low light is significantly worse, and I would recommend something with a larger and more powerful flash if this is your primary need.
