"This is The ONE!!!!"
Pros: Perfect picture quality/Great design/Perfect Size/ Whatelse you need?
Cons: here and there you can say things about.. but i would says there is nothing bothers me so far..
Summary: I'm a part time digital pro photographer. i've been buying and selling ultra small digital camera so many time .. because i haven't find any thing i like.. mainly picture quality and camera size -easy to carry, also camera design. this sony DSC-T9 is the ONE i've been looking for... this one made me smile when i saw the first result... you will experience amazing picture quality like SLR camera pictures. crisp and bright. beautiful design and small size.. it just perfect. i'm very very picky and this one satisfies me big time. i only use lastest electronic. -design and quality and style. just like i love my powermac G5 and powerbook G4 thsi silver DSC-T9 is perfect for my home office. sleek and tiny and.. come on it takes amazing picture.. not like T7.. this T9 takes breataking pictures.. almost same quality as from my SLR nikon D70s camera. believe me i'm very picky... silver is better than black i think because it goes with my other electronics and doesn't see scratches .. black one looks pretty at first but i worried it would get scratches big time.

Dear Shams Tarek:
So which of the 3 micro digi cams above is the best overall choice. I realize no 1 camera does it all.
T9- no viewfinder but lg. 2.5 LCD screen. Zeiss lens, which suggests good optics, but image quality only rated "good" by CNET. Stablization program, which helps reduce blurr common to mini digis. Under 1" thick, stylish design.
SD-550: Image quality termed very good. Gets high marks for controls and design. Has workable viewfinder plus 2.5 inch LCD. Burst mode for multiple frame shots. Short on manual controls.
Casio XL-Z750: Stylish, thin design. Photo quality termed "very good." Has manual controls that allow aperture v. shutter priority. No burst mode. No stabilizing feature, that I know. But the new XL-600 has stabilizing feature and movie mode.
All are w/i my $$ range. Which do you like best overall? I haven't shot since I broke my old Yashica SLR years ago. Maybe controls on Casio are too sophisticated for me?
Thanks,
JM -
you say you're a pro photographer yet you compare an SLR with a compact. now in my book that's mighty krap.
the t9 is a wonderful litttle device which has a lot of brilliant features but also a lot of limitations.
and also, who comments on this site, because this is a camera made for taking pictures, not making u carry wires around. the video is also krap and i'm sorry for criticising but i myself am a photographer, employed thank god at a magazine and i started with a sony w1 which is a brilliant camera but which does not even come close to a dSLR... the t7 offers the antishake but basically it otherwise has the same or less features than its cousin the W17.
