"The best sony M series camera" on by lilcjpinoy130
Pros: Takes very clear pics, high quality movie taking and playback, great flash, perfect ergonomic design, and clear lcd display
Cons: Can't switch from Movie Mode to Picture Mode unless you actually press the shutter or movie button and when you do, it takes a picture or records right away, very tiny zoom toggle which is too slow
Summary: I think this is a very unique camera and it's design is perfect for everyone due to it's comfortability. The one thing I dreadfuly hated is that there isn't a movie or photo switch that can switch to movie or photomode. In order switch you have to press the Rec. button and actually record at that moment.Another thing that i also don't like is when you switch to program mode, when recording it drops frames and it seem to be at only 15frames per second even though the setting is at 30 frames per second. The recording is only perfect at auto mode and about three other scene modes. I thought that was pretty weird.Although on the positive side,It has a very strong flash compare to the m1. The LCD screen display is very clear and great for viewing photos and slideshows.I think that what makes this way better than the sony m1 is that you can put 4 tracks of music for musical slideshows that contain movies and photos. Forget whatever reviews you have been reading but you can put a movies in the slideshow that is more than five seconds, even ones that are longer than a hour. The other thing that seperates this from the m1 is that it stores 1,100 VGA photos of ones that you already took so that you have a pocket album wherever you go, and so that you never lose that picture. overall I say good movies only in auto mode, perfect clear pictures, and it has such a great design.
