"Best Bang For My Buck"
Pros: User-friendly, compact, stylish
Cons: Battery/Memory cover flimsy
Summary: My husband and I bought this camera on Labor Day Weekend and got a great deal @ Office Depot (had a mail-in rebate which brought our purchase price to $275.00 - not a bad deal for an 8 mega-pixel camera!).
So far, so good. I played with the one @ the store quite a bit so by the time we charged up our battery @ home I felt pretty comfortable with the different features, and there are plenty.
Right now my biggest complaint as I mentioned above is the memory/battery cover which easily opens. The A/C adapter cover also feels flimsy. It would've been nice if Sony included a camera case with this product. We just used a case we had already. One other thing I can think of which I wasn't thrilled about is the wrist strap but we just used the one from our older camera. The wrist strap is shorter than what I'm used to and not adjustable but that's just me being picky.
Overall, I highly recommend this camera. We've owned it for less than a month so I'll check back after we've used it more and post an update.Updated
My husband, the meticulous Virgo that he is, noticed that I (incorrectly) typed we bought this camera on Labor Day weekend when I meant we purchased it recently on Memorial Day weekend.
Thanks, honey! What would I do without u?!?!
Update: We've had about a month to play with our camera now and we still love it. Very user-friendly. Neither of us have noticed anything we don't like about it other than what I already mentioned on previous posting.
