"i love it!"
Pros: great outdoor photos- clear, sharp, great colors, easy menu, lots of settings, external battery charger, tripod mount,
Cons: doesn't come with a case
Summary: i got this camera just a few days ago and so far i love it!
the menus are easy to navigate through and there are lots of different settings. also the battery lasts a long time with each charge!!
it takes amazing photos in natural light, and also great photos in dark rooms. i took a photo in a room that had no lights on, just light from the tv and the flash is so great that the picture came out very bright and perfect! you can take amazing photos with this camera if you use the right settings.
you can also set the iso on auto, or up to 1000. this is very helpful and the iso 1000 pics come out great (although in certain lighting situations they may be a little grainy, but so far no problems with this).
the software that it comes with is also very easy to use - it will automatically import only the new photos you took instead of everything on the memory stick- and will organize them by date and you can view them by calendar or folder. VERY cool!
another bonus is that it has an external battery charger. this is great incase you want to buy an extra battery and you can use the camera while the other battery charges. you can also get an adapter to charge the battery while its still in the camera but this does not come with the camera.
one thing i absolutely love about this camera is that there is no delay when taking a picture. my sister has a nikon and there is a long delay between when you push the button and when the picture is taken - this often makes it difficult to take the photo you originally intended. However, this sony does not do that! you push the button halfway to focus and then all the way and it takes the photo!
the movie feature is also nice, i have a 1gb memory stick and i can hold almost an hour of movie! it takes good movies but you have to hold the camera fairly steady when doing so. also you can't use the zoom function during recording, so you have to set it before you start recording.
overall this is an awesome camera and i definitely recommend it!!
