"Easy to use, fun to use & wonderful photos"
Pros: Easy to use and understand menus. Zoom and optics are all you would expect. All the bells and whistles you need, want and then some.
Cons: The cable jack in the camera body is sometimes a little difficult to get the plug into.
Summary: Overall, as passionate amateur photographer who doesn't want the weight or extra accessories of an SLR (digital or not), this is an excellent camera. Once the battery is charged and you pop it in, you are up and shooting! The easy to understand and read menus helps give you the right shooting method at the right time. It's lightweight, easy in the hands and the large bright digital screen really make this an enjoyable camera to carry.Updated
And...it takes great photos! The optics on the lens are great and the 15x digital zoom frees up a world of opportunity.

I bought my H9 just few days before going to Leh-Ladakh Trip in june. I used all available options of the camera and really enjoyed working. one thing I felt about it that the battery life is shorter in extreme cold conditions.
