"GREAT CAMERA !!!"
Pros: Small, Easy to use, light weight, strong battery life, Great Zoom, Very good image quality plus many manual and pre programmed settings.
Cons: Not to much, I just don?t like the manual lens protector, but hey small thing.
Summary: I love this camera, the photo quality is great, I took shots of my children playing on a jumping castle and every body complemented me on the great action photos, and honestly I just pressed the button after auto focus. The auto-ISO setting is great from this point of view and really ensure high quality pics in action. After taking some photos of the kids swimming I realized how vibrant the photo?s are and the great colour debts. If you want a high quality no nonsense camera then this is it. I will miss the normal view finder but then again the camera is so small that I do not mind. The size is ideal for carrying the camera around your neck while snapping and zooming as the need arises, ideal for home and travel. Some of the great features include the auto focus settings, the high quality video (for a still camera), the super steady shot support , the on screen grid lines which makes aiming easier, the small form factor, the easy and self documenting on screen display (I hardly had to touch the manual, will to learn the more advanced features). The most surprising feature was the slideshow view when hooking the camera to the TV; it has great effects including selective scrolling. The best part is that the camera plays nice music while displaying the slideshow, by default it has four build in slideshow tunes. I was very surprised to see that you can even upload MP3?s to the camera to create your own slideshow music. All and all this is a great camera for a professional amateur like me, ha-ha. Hope it will last as well as my previous cyber shot (which is still working perfectly after 4 years). PS. The pop up flash is also very effective with a nice syncro range (up to 14m with very good recharge times). Sony you can send me a cheque now, haha.
