"Great Camera!!!"
Pros: Compact yet long 10x zoom, great pics
Cons: lens cover, shoulder strap instead of wrist strap
Summary: I originally bought the Canon SX100 which has a higher CNET rating than the Sony, although I'm not sure why? The slow recycle time for the canon brings it down tremendously as well as indoor pic quality. If you want a camera that takes great pics on Automatic without having to play with settings, try the Sony H10!! The flash recycle time is quick, pictures indoor and out come out clear with good color. Out of shooting a ton of pics, only one or two have been slightly blurry.
Pros:
-Small size to have 10x optical zoom
-Fast picture to picture speed
-Great pics
-Viewing pics with slide show to music - how cool!
-3" LCD
Cons:
Minor cons which prevents me from giving a 10 out of 10:
-Lens cover (has lens cap)
-Shoulder strap instead of wrist strap - which I corrected by buying a wrist strap on ebay for $2.
- no zoom during video (although not a big deal for me - I take video with my video camera).
Buy this camera - you won't be disappointed!!

I belong to a birding club and want to take photos of birds on outings. How is the zoom lens as far as photo quality and stability is concerned when not using a tripod? Thanks!
