"TX7 is not what you think it is."
2.5 starson by ElizabethUnderwoodPros: Size, weight, and the camera can snap pictures quickly.
Cons: No viewfinder and most folks want to take pictures outside. Trust me, you can't see a thing and you end up just pointing and shooting and hoping that you photographed your target. Also, the camera doesn't do well in low light even though the "experts" ca
Summary: The Sony TX-7 sounds good on paper, however the camera is lacking in so many important areas. After one year of owning the TX-7, I'm currently looking to buy another camera. Which is a real bummer.

If didn't have OCD before I started researching cameras I do not. Every time I 4+ stars and think i found a great camera it has a major flaw. Would be great if, when pros review a camera they would provide better/other cameras they would recommend above it.
Major issue with seeing a great review - then noticing it was dated 2 years ago - No mater how good the camera stacked up to the rest then - it's a dinosaur now.
I see the other high marks on the TX- came from reviews and comments from almost 2 years ago - while yours was just a few months ago.
Since you said you were looking into finding another camera, wondered if you'd share what you came up with. -
HAHAHAHHAHHA...... The view finders built into the camera screen..... No matter which camera you buy, doesn't cure the incompetence factor.
