"OK photos, Video playback not working correctly."
2.0 starson by GarryTugglePros: Small size, easy to use, good quality photos for a small camera.
Cons: Video playback not in sync with audio. Tried several PCs and different software players. Called Sony but did not resolve the problem.
Summary: Purchased this camera last week to replace a Cannon SD1100IS which we use when traveling. Liked the small size and ease of use of the Cannon. The Sony DSC W350 takes good photos but so far we have been unable to resolve the Video/Audio problem. Video on the Cannon worked great, guess I expected the Sony to be as good. Will probably return it to the store and exchange for a different brand if we can't get the problem resolved.

The problem is not your camera, it's your computer. The computers that you tried to play the videos on are old, outdated, or not powerful enough to show the video properly. Your old Canon camera videos worked fine because it's an older camera with a different video format (most likely quicktime). The newer cameras use the MP4 format so they can store HD video. I had the same problem you did with playback of these videos on my old computer, which was a Pentium 4. When my computer died, I upgraded to a computer with an Athlon Dual Core processor and now all those videos I used to have problems with play perfectly. You may be out of luck with most of the new cameras until you upgrade your computer.
