"Size & weight makes it great to carry around everyday."5.0 starson by Ulimatepirate
Pros: Its sensitivity to light minimizes the use of flash. Intuitive user interface and design makes it easy to use. The brushed metal finish of the body looks and feels expensive. Its wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens edges other cameras in its class.
Cons: A stereo sound for its 720p HD video capability would have been great. Instead, what we get is mono sound courtesy of its tiny built in mike.
Summary: Its feels good to have a camera with this much functionality and quality at such a compact size and reasonable price. The controls are simple enough and the functions are essentially the ones that are very useful in a point-and-shoot digital camera.
I've used it for macro, night, and normal shots and the result is very satisfactory. Some softness occur during low-light situations but pictures generally looks great with accurate bright colors. The panoramic function definitely is a plus for this very handy and easy-to-use camera. The sharp and vivid 720p HD videos it is capable of capturing plays smoothly on my PC being in the more universally popular mp4 format.
I just wish I had known earlier that it can already accept SD cards so that I would not have bought the proprietary Sony Memory Stick Pro-Duo which so much more expensive. Anyways, it probably shoots and saves quite more quickly with a Memory Stick because I haven't experience a noticeable lag yet while using this fine and dandy camera.
