"Almost perfect !"4.5 starson by Fmanta
Pros: Low light, macro , tele, flash, controls, battery life, focusing speed and precision, scene modes, HDR, movies, handling, zoom ring, automatic evf, outstanding stabilization.
Cons: LCD could be better, no slow motion movies, charger in camera !?! , no filter thread ( actually a good thing for me because I sell filter adapters)
Summary: Excellent comments from all reviewers here , I think that it's great when a reviewer is able to share a real owner experience with "similar" cameras. In my quest for the perfect camera I had the Canon SX30, Nikon P500 and the Fuji HS20. The HX100 is so good that I even bought the HX9V , wich is the same camera in pocket size. To be fair, Canon's rotating LCD is better, Nikon's LCD quality is better, Slow motion in Fuji's and Nikon's are very nice and that's all. In any other aspect, Sony is much superior, I don't even miss my Nikon D5000 and 3 lenses because the HX100 can handle almost any situation better, faster and easier, except low light moving objects and portraits, for that my next dream camera will be a Fuji X100.
