"Very nice camera!" on by Kim5155

Pros: easy to use, amazing quality photos in high light and low light, rechargeable battery, extremely compact, nice quality videos

Cons: very small on/off button, small flash button, battery takes awhile to charge

Summary: This is a huge improvement from my old camera. I had bought a Canon Powershot A630 back in 2007, and I didn't realize how much of an improvement it would be getting this, until I purchased it. I was testing out various cameras (in 3 different stores) and I fell in love with it.

The video feature is amazing, really good quality for something so small. I love making DVD's for my family of my kids... so I was def. looking for another video feature in a camera.

The only thing I don't really like, and this is just me being nitpicky here, is that the on/off button is REALLY small. So if you have big fingers, you might want to get something else. The flash button or whatever is kind of small too, but its a bit bigger than the on/off.

The camera is very compact. I tried to go back to my old camera, and its just too clunky for me.

Even if you don't know much about camera's, this one is VERY easy to use. Just leave it on easy mode and everything's pretty much set for you!

The quality is amazing. Unlike my old camera, it actually takes decent low lighting pictures too.

I bought a 2GB memory card with it, and it holds about 420 pictures, and tells you how many photos you have left.

It comes with a rechargable battery that you stick in an electric socket to charge. Very useful and saves you tons of money, rather than going out and buying batteries all the time. (My old camera ate 4 batteries at a time, so I'm very happy with this.)

"Good at everthing." on by canoncamera

Pros: Very simple controls, fast shutter speed and despite some other reviews, I see good, acceptable indoor pics from this camera.

Cons: Battery life is in the middle of the pack. Not as bad as others.

Summary: For the money, one of the better buys out there. If you want a good point and shoot at a fair price, this is a good as it gets. More bucks gets more stuff, but this one, quite simply, works.
