Not for a novice, auto setting is not auto,by jlmretired - November 21, 2005
Pros: auto and manual operation,
Cons: when set on automatic most pics are blurred,
Review: I am at most a novice and the manual settings are not for me, if you depend on auto settings this is not for you.

Fantastic pocket size cameraby garywojo - July 1, 2005
Pros: Inexpensive and gives great shots.
Cons: Battery life could be better
Review: I bought the "Traveler" branded camera from Aldi a few months ago for $169. I have had 5 digital cameras including a Canon Rebel XT, 2 Olympus models and a Sony. This is by far the best value. It is small enough to carry in your pocket and gives excellent shots. It's easy to use and I use it all the time. Extra batteries are cheap. Just love it.

Best Camera For The Priceby tyafrica - June 29, 2005
Pros: The price for 6.3 Mega Pixels
Cons: The power button needs to be raise for power-on ease.
Review: This camera takes excellent picture. Its compact size can go anywhere and has a nice large clear LCD. It also came with a SanDisk 32mb memory card, but after taking some pitures I moved up to the 512mb. It can record great movies too. I think this camera would be good for the beginner and the prosumer alike. It is an upgrade for me I started with Vivitar ViviCam 3615 2.1 Mega Pixel. The Vivtar ViviCam 4000 should be check out by all. Regardless of what brand you already have.

Pros: Easy to use, great size picture quality is excellent once you learn how to use it. Traveled Europe with it and never once had a problem.
Cons: Don't always use auto mode, practice with the different settings until you get the hang of it, shutter speed and the like.

Pros: Outstanding consistent utdoor shots; meters well; comes with lithium/ion battery and charger;compact; seems well-built.
