Summary: Now, you can certainly buy content from itunes but this will get expensive. I like this system best for a HTPC extenders. I have one computer that I use as a DVR (eyetv) and rip all my blueray DVD to. I have a huge collection of my own HD movies on a 2 TB NAS that is managed by itunes on that HTPC. I them get to stream it all to each TV with the ATV and love it. Roku has more apps but does not work well as a client or server.
Still would be better with more content choices.
