"Do More Research"
Pros: It decodes h.264
Cons: No wireless N.
Summary: These 2 other reviews are funny because they haven't even used the product. If you really want an indepth understanding of the product from users I would suggest AVS Forum and the Netgear Forum.
The first gentlment assumes everybody will be using a wireless connection and the secone reviewer fails to understand that the EVA8000 is one of a very few streamers that is capable of h.264 which is huge for streaming HD.
The XBox requires modding for a great deal of it's funcitonality and if you are a fan of HD, the iTunes selection of HD content so very poor which renders Apple TV useless.
I am going reserve judement on this unit until I try it out myself then I will report back.

I thought I was having a wonderful experience with this system until I discovered that my Media Center PC uses a TV tuner not supported. I didn't get this device to watch YouTube videos, NETGEAR! No wonder the cable companies with their DVRs will still rule the planet in ten years.

thanks for the view. i would be really pissed if this take a lot of time to set up, especially when i can just move a computer by the tv/ stereo and use my wireless network to take care of the rest. that said, id still like not to have to. can you please give a full report?

The Xbox 360 requires no modding. As I mentioned earlier just use as a media extender for your Windows Media Center. You then get all the functionality you could desire. So easy a monkey can do it. Can you?
