Pros Easy to set up and use. Picture quality is outstanding.

Cons Eventually refuses to respond to the remote.

Summary Frustrating, that a product so good when it works is sometimes fatally flawed, and receives almost no support from the manufacturer. My second remote control, a brand new upgrade from the original, will no longer control the device, after two short weeks of service. Roku product support is sympathetic, but totally useless.

Pros Works great with my FIOS. 1080 picture is the best on new box. They have added many channels since I got my first unit.

Cons none I can think of.

Pros Simple to install and operate. Small size helps with wall mounted TV.

Cons Still waiting for YouTube and no iHeart radio. Their live feed of Fox news works great - except if you live on the West Coast as it is only broadcast until 3PM EST.

Summary They committed to providing YouTube but they seemed to have backed off this commitment. With the investment Google is putting into creating new channels, Roku has to get their act together around content.

Pros No more need to watch netflix by turning on a noisy pc. The unit is 100% silent and does not get super hot as most tiny electronic devices normally do. If you do not want to pay for any videos then get Crackle!

Cons The wires are kind of short and do not let you place the unit where you want. So I have to place it on the TV stand.
Default sound settings for click sound effects are kinda loud but you can change that under settings.

Summary If you own a decent color TV and do not want to spend $2,000 for a smart TV then this is the best choice
to turn that old tube stle TV into a smart TV!
