"cinematics" it doesn't support Chapters, you obviously are technology challenged. this is a TECH site. Of the 10 players in its price range they all support chapters EXCEPT WD.
The method you suggest will, as noted on tech sites, frequented take you to the NEXT movie, and does not advance you a chapter but some variable amount of time. On a mkv it can cause all kinds of crazy results.
That is why the nubmer one requested feature on WD own site is chapter management. So don't come here with BS. This is CNET, not readers digest, people know what chapters are :) -
Has absolutely chapter support. All you need is to put the unit in fast forward or rewind mode. Then use the chapter forward or back key. It is that simple!
