"Cagic Digital Frame - Great Color, Easy to Use"5.0 starson by UncleJohann
Pros: Easy to use. My parents figured this frame out in about 30 seconds. Could not be simpler: pop the card in, press copy, and pull it out when it says done. That's it. The color side-by-side next to my other frames is crisp.
Cons: It's very simple. It doesn't do a lot of tricks. It just shows pictures, which is all I need it to do.
Summary: I got one of the first 50 frames, according to the company, after hearing about it online. Out of the box experience was excellent, with a nice presentation. First impression when you hold it is "wow." It feels substantial. Though this frame is about $20 more expensive than comparable frames, you feel like you know where the money is going. This feels like something you'd spend $179.99 on. Solid metal and the wooden frame is real, not fake/painted/plastic/etc. No plastic on this frame.
II normally set up electronics for my parents, but in this case I probably didn't have to. It was as simple as popping a card in the frame to copy pictures. That's all. It's the first frame I gave to my parents that I actually showed them how to put pictures on, which is saying something. They put away the other two they had with pictures of the kids and just use the Cagic frame.
It doesn't have any of the normal bells and whistles: video, audio, WiFi, etc. But I never use those anyway, so no major downside for me.
In short, I definitely feel like I got what I paid for with this frame. It's easy, the resolution and color on the frame is better than any other I've seen, including my Philips and my Sony frames, and it actually looks nice from all sides. No plastic, no ugly, just very neutral, solid and nice. It's the only frame I've got that looks like it was made for the living room.
