"Video playback was terrible!!" on by poolguy995
Pros: Remote control was excellent
Cons: Could not get video/movies to play back smoothly, very choppy and out of sync with sound. Tried both AVI and MPEG4 without success.

"terrible product" on by Sojourner74
Pros: fairly clear image, remote easy to use, acceptable number of options for slideshows
Cons: no reliability whatsoever. worked for 3 months then died. I'll never buy a Coby product again.

"Exceeds Expectations, Excellent value" on by mawgui
Pros: Attractive large display. Photo AND movies play fine. Cheap!
Cons: No internal power supply. Tinny sound. Only white or black plastic frame.
Summary: This 10" frame cost less than a lot of 7" frames available at the time. The frame was also multifeatured, not just a 1D budget picture viewer.
Pictures look very good. AVI files play just fine (contrary to the CNET review). The interface is intuitive but the file menu structure a bit clunky. Internal power supply would be nice. Better sound would be nice, too... but who buys a picture frame for its sound quality?
I bought a Coby frame in part because of my positive experience with my kids' Coby DVD player. Our experience with Coby products has been that they are surprisingly full featured and of better quality than one has a right to expect at the price point -- this frame is entirely consistent with this reputation.
