"Nice image and features odd size"2.5 starson by Northshorecowboy
Pros: Clarity of image
Cons: wide screen dimensions
Summary: The Kodak frame provides a nice quality image and has many controls for customizing the transition from pic to pic. BUT why has Kodak (and every other frame maker for that matter) decided to forego the decades old industry standard picture size???
Every camera on the market, whether digital or otherwise, uses a 3:2 ratio. Monitors are basically 3:2 as well. Now, in order to take full advantage of these "widescreen frames", you have to edit virtually every photo you take so that you control what gets cropped out. AND, you inevitably will crop out parts of your photos that are desired. This will amount to countless hours of added work. WAKE UP MANUFACTURUERS!!! -- just because television has gone widescreen to match the movie industry, does not mean you have to do the same thing.
