Pros: Great at showing photos, excellent gift.
Cons: Mine quit working, they promised to fix but didn't.
Summary: I received my Pandigital 8 inch frame as a gift and I was delighted with it. For about two weeks.
After two weeks it began to operate on a sometimes basis, with a noisy raster but no pictures. I mailed it back to Pandigital as instructed by Customer Service, fortunately I insured it with a return receipt requested. I sent it USPS on 10/30/07 and they signed for it on 11/16/07. They never sent it back, nor did they acknowledge receipt by mail or phone. In fact, there has only been thundering silence from them.
I've called them twice about it and they are very pleasant on the phone while they are giving me the runaround, saying "Well, it was sent (as instructed) to the "old" Call Center, we now have a new one. We have not heard back from them about what happened."Updated
In my earlier post I reported about how the unit failed after 2 weeks. I called customer service and they told me where to send it for repair. I sent it and it disappeared into the great void of " being serviced".
After some phone calls they finally sent me a new one after only 8 months.
I've had the new one for 2 days, and so far, it works great. So I take back all the bad things that I said about them. I've also pulled all the stickpins of of the Pandigital voodoo doll.
If this unit fails, I'll put up another post.
Meanwhile, they have stood behind their product.
