"Excellent Frame"
Pros: Picture Quality, timer function, easy of use
Cons: menu not as intuitive as possible
Summary: Took me no time to hook it up to my PC and tranfer photos. The menu is not as easy to use as it should be, but once you get the hang of it, changing settings was easy. I bought this because of the picture quality and the ability to have it come on and go off at certain times. Thats a great feature since I'm not home most of the day and it doesn't need to be running.

Really, this is a damn expensive camera frame, and i don't know where to begin with my review. I was able to pretty easily post picts from my mac to the frame, even though the instructions are for PCs only...however, i can only load 7 photos at about 140kb each on the frame. I spent HOURS trying to talk to philips customer service to get help. But they are in the Philippines, and their people can only read and repeat what they see in their own online user manual. I can't even being to comment on how frustrating the experience was. in fact, i better stop thinking about it before i say something that is not post-able.
Any lower quality photo than 140 kb is not clear enough to see on the frame - so you can't go lower on picture quality to get the 70 photos they say you can store. in fact, Philips Customer service couldn't even tell me how much storage the frame is supposed to come with, only that it should post "50-70 photos".... obviously the 7 that I loaded before running out of space are a far cry from that.
It's just ridiculously expensive for such low memory --how many songs and videos can you store in an ipod now? Shame on Philips for putting out this product.
