"Good picture quality - can't get movies to play!"
Pros: Works well as a picture displayer. Easy to get started.
Cons: Support? Can't get AVIs to play.
Summary: This is a pretty easy to use picture electronic picture frame if you plan on just using it for pictures. Plug in your media and start it up. You have the option to pick an individual folder to display or all pictures on that media. Over all as an electronic picture frame I am very happy.
When it comes to using all of it's features, that is were I am disappointed. It indicates you can display AVIs on it. I would like to. Just haven't figured out what compression it handles. I've even created a non-compressed AVI and it still wouldn't play.
When it comes to support there is very little information about this product on Royal's website. I believe I did find out the resolution of the screen is 640 x 480. However you can display larger images with no problems what so ever.
