"An excellent Ipod/Iphone speaker system for the money!" on by Jared9876

    Pros: Sound Quality
    Build Quality
    Appearance
    Price

    Cons: None so far

Summary: Over the Summer I bought surround sound speakers from Fluance based on reviews I read here on CNET. I spent $200 on 5 speakers. I was blown away by the build quality, sound quality, and price of the speakers. They were big, heavy, and built like tanks. Then I popped in a blu ray and turned the volume up and was blown away by the sound. When I saw this Ipod dock here on CNET I immediately read the review. Then I went to Fluance's website and found that they were selling this unit for a short time for only $100. BAM! It was the perfect Christmas gift for my girlfriend.

Pros: Build Quality: This unit came in the mail and I was immediately impressed with the weight of the box. I had a feeling it was going to be just as solid as my surround sound speakers. I gave this to my girlfriend a couple of days ago and I am totally impressed with it. We unpacked it and it was solid as a rock. I love the build quality of Fluance brand speakers.

Sound Quality: Just like my surround speakers from fluance, this speaker system blew me away. I had no idea it was going to sound so good or be able to go so loud without distortion. I really cranked it up and I am still amazed at the quality. I am no audiophile by any stretch but I know when something sounds good and this speaker system sounds good!! I really want to take this present back and enjoy it for myself.

Appearance: I personally like the appearance of this system. It's simple and neat and there is not too much going on. I like the glossy black finish and the button configuration. The buttons are easy to figure out and the menu system is just as easy as well. Oh it also comes with a remote control that is very easy to operate. Overall I am really impressed with the appearance.

Price: There is not enough I can say about the price of this unit. It is listed at $200 but I got lucky and bought it when Fluance was having a deal before Thanksgiving in which it was only $100. I immediately bought a unit for my girlfriend. I do not have a lot of experience with ipod speaker systems but I can't imagine there are too many speaker systems that sound this good for the price.

In conclusion, I love this unit from Fluance. Twice now I have bought speakers from Fluance and twice I have been blown away by the build quality, sound quality, appearance, and price. Thank you to CNET for reviewing Fluance products and bringing them to my attention.

"Big Bang for Your Buck" on by PolstonKY

Pros: Great sound quality (Especially for the price)
    Sleek Look
    Pretty Durable so far

Cons: Maybe it is a little too big? But that is really just me stretching for a con

Summary: For $200 you are not going to find a dock with better sound quality and more attractive look. I love it. I got it as a gift and I love it so far! I would recommend it and would encourage anyone looking for a dock to check it out. Very reasonable priced and high quality product.
