Pros: OTA DVR recording! Simple installation. Great picture and sound from OTA antenna reception. Easy to use menu's.

Cons: This unit does not have a built in caller id to show you who is calling while you are watching TV. There is not a TV preview while you are looking at the guide. There are no buttons on the main unit to control it from the box.

Summary: Bottom line, If you find yourself watching mostly regular TV channels, cancel your cable/satellite provider, get a channel master, and save yourself A LOT of money. OTA HD is uncompressed giving you the best picture and sound available. The DVR works great and the play back is perfect. I have used both Direct TV (Ultimate TV service) and Dish Network (with Homezone and VIP722) service for years. I loved having all the control from these services but prices kept raising and all I really found I was watching mostly regular channels, so why continue to pay the high prices?
