Summary: Get used to long hold times, poor english, and completely useless technical support.
Every time you call technical support, they will have you reset the receiver, then reformat the hard drive (Erases everything). If you only record 3 or 4 programs a week and watch them before the weekend is over, this will work for you. If you expect it to work like advertised, you will be very disappointed. I am on my 3rd replacement and this one has the same glitches the last one did. It freezes up, it dosen't record what you tell it to record, it only records 5 minutes of what you tell it to record, it records one episode when you tell it to record a series, it records reruns when you tell it first run only, the response time slows to a crawl once the hard drive reaches 45-50% capacity, if you pause live TV and then fast fwd through commercials it will jump to the end of the program, rewind it back to the place you left off and push play and it will jump to the end of the program, it has a progressive ffwd. If you use the 4x ffwd, it starts off slow (1-2 min increments) then jumps 4-8 minute increments. You can not accurately use this feature. The biggest kicker is that you are locked in a 2 year contract with this POS.
