"Only improvements on the TIVO 2 Series DVR."
Pros: Size of Hard Drive, I'll never have a problem of premature deletion of shows.
User friendly Menus
Save time (time is money) by skipping commercials of recorded programsCons: Pricey, expensive box and lifetime service equals high price tag for this luxury.

Pros: Had the cable DVR , OK if you don't know better but if you were a previous TIVO user it was a big let down. Upgraded to HDXL and very happy with it.

Pros: - get rid of your ugly dish
- Tivo interface (which is awesome)
- HUGE storage capacity
- works with my ReadyNAS storage

"Love it! I just want picture in picture search"
Pros: love the interface, love netflix, love you-tube, love the little bloo-bloop noises.
Cons: TiVo interface is standard def and stretched- now i know. now i notice I REALLY want picture in picture when I search. Not a huge fan of the price,I hope it's going to great new updates soon! Is not compatible with the future tru2way :(
