Pros -recording options - knows when to record your shows, never had a problem -no dropouts, ever. Dish DVR consistently has audio dropouts -adjustable recording quality -wish lists -when you stop the fast forward it automatically backs up a few 10ths of a se on February 23, 2005  | Read full review

Pros I have the series 2 tivo with DirecTV. DirecTV version allows recording of two shows at once! The interface is a dream and the season pass feature is wonderful. DirecTV version is more efficient at storing shows since it is digital to digital so you ma on January 12, 2005  | Read full review

Pros I just got this machine yesterday. Once it was up and running (see the cons), it has been awesome. Now I can interrupt my boyfriend during a Braves game, and he can just pause the TV.
