"great tv!" on
Pros: it was hard to touch this one as far as picture quality when i bought it. looks great, lots of inputs, including component and 2 s-videos. wish it was digital!
Cons: heavy! newer models are lighter, but it makes me wonder about quality. sometimes sound turns on and picture does not, but thats maybe once per 6 months. remote is a pile of crap, as are all panasonic remotes. blacks sometimes have a slight green tinge,

"Great for 27" needs" on
Summary: Picked this set up a few weeks ago. Initially was concerned when watching golf on NBC, the screen would "short out" when the camera followed a shot into the sky. I later learned that others had seen this on their completely different t.v.s as well during that broadcast and I haven't experienced any problems since. Circuit City had this sitting next to the comparable 27" Sony and after playing with each for about an hour, the Sony could not touch this Panasonic in picture quality. And then when I asked the manager, he said he thought it was better too, but knew why...better technology. While the picture is great, I'm almost disappointed that I don't notice that everytime I turn it on. My mom has had a little 13" Sony flatscreen in her kitchen for a couple years and everytime I see it, I'm like, "Wow, that's a great picture!" Oh well, great T.V. and DVD performance is great too.
