No worth the moneyby Simp384 - September 2, 2007
Pros: Very little cost - i guess
Cons: Does not work after 8 months
Review:
This is a very poorly made tv. We bought this for my son for christmas and yesterday it does not work at all - it will turn on but we get a black screen with white horizontal and vertical lines - we were advised it was no longer under the 3 month *yes 3 month* manufacturer warranty - the only option we have now is to pay an additional 57.00 to have them send us a replacement tv. I would suggest buying any additional warranty from the retailer if available so maybe you can get this fixed or replaced.

Review:
If you can afford a LCD TV, do that first. If you cannot or just need a really basic tube/heavy TV, then this is a very good choice.
Connectivity is essential and while this doesn't have HDMI connections, it does support and include s-video and component. That said, not bad and component connections are a close second to HDMI.
Also apparent is the side RCA plugs for connection of camcorders or anything else (DVD portable, etc) that may need such.
This set is a alternative set for a dorm/guest bedroom or garage. Not a serious purchase for picture quality.
It's heavy also coming in at over 40 lbs for a simple 20-inch set.
Yet in design, it scores clean and well and better than most low budget tube sets. Not a Sony but a very good alternative for the right reasons.

Pros: Pretty compact for a tube tv, component video input (see "cons"), a/v output
Cons: Component video... SUCKS, no comb filter, black, plastic cabinet seems very cheap and week

Good for a college dorm room, or if you don't watch a lot of television. Definitely NOT for watching movies!
