This 27" TruFlat SDTV Stereo Television provides an Integrated ATSC Tuner that receives local digital broadcasts via antenna - an affordable solution for those who want to receive digital broadcast channels. The tuner receives local, over-the-air, digital broadcasts via antenna and eliminates common interference problems for DVD-like picture quality. TruFlat Picture Tube reduces peripheral screen reflections & glare by over 60% compared to standard tubes. It offers a wider effective viewing area from any angle. Detail clarity adds realism. One set of rear inputs can be used for either a composite (V+R+L) or a component (YPrPb) connection. This simplifies connecting another device such as a DVD player or satellite receiver. Dual-functional inputs offer additional versatility. Side audio/video inputs with S-Video plus rear audio/video outputs offer quick connect & disconnect of another device such as a digital camera or game system. A/V outputs simplify connection to an audio device or home theater system. Selectable format presents the picture on screen in 4:3 or 16:9 format based on program content. Favorite Channel List allows selection of up to 6 channels to be programmed into a favorite list, which is selectable with one button on the remote. Electronic On-Screen Notepad and Calendar provide on-screen message reminder. Programmed message pops up at selected date & time, or if no time selected, the next time TV is powered on.
