Great CRT for the price
Pros: Couldn't ask for a better picture
Cons: The infrared reciever or processor on the TV kinda sucks

This V replaced the worst TV in history, an $88 Awex 20" piece of junk. I did research online and was almost sure to get a Sony when I went to Circuit City, but the Samsung had a better picture. I had brought in a few DVDs with me, so we played the Matrix and Hulk, two movies that tested the screen for movement, color, definition, etc. I was surprised to see the Samsung had the best picture in a 24" CRT by far.
I use component video at home to watch my DVDs, and I am never dissapointed by the clarity and depth of color. This would be a perfect TV to hold you over before you go to a higher definition format, such as an LCD, DLP, etc.
My only real complaint is that the infrared reciever on the TV or the processor is very, very slow, often taking several tries to adjust the volume or change inputs. I use my Samsung home theater often enough where it's not a problem for me, but if someone didn't have that, it could become very annoying.

Bought the set as secondary tv and hooked up with a vcr. The picture quality is great and the sound is excellent for a small set.
Has s-video and multiple a/v ports. The menu is easy to use. Recommend it for the price I paid $259 at Circuit City. They had it for $300 in the store, I told them it was $259 on their website and they adjusted the price down to $259.

Cheaply made, bad audio, decent picture
Pros: Picture is decent when working right.
Cons: Audio pops and cracks, tv randomly shuts off, cheaply made inputs.

When I brought this tv home, it would not even turn on. I returned it to the store for another one, and didnt have any problems with it....for about a month. I had my xbox hooked up to the component video hookups. When I tried to remove the wire, it took the whole input off of the tv with it. At times the sound pops and cracks, then gets really loud, then shuts the tv off completely. I should have saved my money and gone with a better tv.
