"definitely NOT worth the money or trouble"
on by allens42Pros there are other television companies to buy from
Cons power board lasted less than two years
Summary Our power board went out to the tune of $250 to repair. Samsung customer service combative and very UNhelpful. Told me I was on my own. I will never buy another samsung product of any kind and will tell anyone who will listen in order to save them the money and trouble this has caused me,

"Good while it lasted"
on by baethPros Good quality, and a great picture. Colors were vibrant and sound quality was better than average.
Cons It died unexpectedly after 21 months, which is contrary to Samsung's claim to best quality in the field. Weighing close to 90 pounds, it is really hefty to lug around.
Summary I'm sure that, through bad luck, I simply got the lemon of the bunch, but Samsung support is less than helpful. I would have ended up paying more than the cost of the TV just to replace it. My next buy will definitely be lighter, bigger, and not Samsung.

"Great TV for the money"
on by walto034Pros Picture quality, number of inputs, picutre adjustments
Cons built-in speakersm lacks HDMI and DVI but you wouldn't notice the difference on a screen this size anyways
Summary I've had this TV for about 7 months now and so far I've been completely satisfied with it. The picture quality on it is excellent, despite some reviews that I've read on other sites, I think that theyre forgetting that in the end it's a fairly small TV and that you can't expect the same picture quality that you're going to get from a big screen.
I've had it hooked up to a variety of High Def sources and it has performed well with all of them. The 1080i sources have looked incredible on it for it's size. Watching High Def cable on it was a treat for me. Playing Xbox 360 on it has also produced incredible graphics. Ocsasionally while viewing DVDs (480p) I'll notice it over saturating reds, but this is more a product of my DVD player than the TV, I've never seen anything resembling this from either High Def cable or the 360.
The speakers are pretty abyssmal, but I've only used them for a total of about 2 hours before I got the rest of my stereo hooked up to it.
Overall if you're looking for a small entry level TV for a dorm room, bedroom, or small apartment this one will suit you very well and is also very reasonably priced. It is ideal for being used as an HD monitor in these situations. -
"Excellent entry level HDTV"
on by yendor72Pros The price, picture clarity, and connections are all excellent.
Cons So far no problems.
Summary I really like this HDTV. It is a very affordable HDTV, and the picture is very crisp and clear. Also, the new Xbox 360 looks great with this TV. Overall, I am very pleased with the TV.
