"The perfect choice for me (over DLP or LCD rear projection)"
Pros: Excellent picture quality
Cons: Weight (190 pounds)
Summary: The Sony KD34XBR970 beats any micro display LCD or DLP in picture quality. The color is outstanding. The screen is easily viewable any angle. The HDMI is well worth it.
Many may have issues with the size and weight, but in my I'd rather sacrifice weight over paying for a lamp replacement every 3 years at $250 for the smaller, lighter micro displays.
