I don't think you can find a better picture. Ample inputs including HDMI. You can see the peach fuzz on people's faces

Even now with Full HD on Plasma and LCD it's very difficult for me to change my KD-34XS950 for one of the new ones because the quality of the picture it's really amazing, it delivers great blacks (even at night it looks like it's not on) and the colors and sound are “like no other”. as a former Sony employee I got the change to own this TV at a fraction of it’s price because it has a torn box and it was covered with dust on the warehouse but when I cleaned and turned on I felt like I found the TV of my dreams, and I did. Now I spend lots of hours on my PS3 and HDMI DVD watching movies and all my friends always ask me if I plan to sell it to give them a call right away jejeje but they don’t know that I would never sell my baby; too bad I cannot hang it on the wall 
and my wife says that I love my TV more that her.

I forgot to mention that you have to be careful with the subwoofer killer.... yes, whyle watching the movie "war of whe worlds" with Tom Cruise, my sub was damaged and had to replace it so be careful with this movie, my brother had his center speaker killed by this movie also.

Pros
Great picture (even the SD is fantastic and when "wide zoom" is engaged a 4:3 picture fills the 16:9 screen without much distortion. This TV has excellent connectivity options and picture adjustment
Cons
Tubes are still heavier than flat panels. This baby took myseld and a buddy to schlep into the house and hoist onto the stand.
