Excellent picture quality in high and standard definition, however, remote is basic. I believe that Sony can add more functionality to standard remotes.

great for TV/DVD, not so hot for videogames...by - November 20, 2004
Pros: -phenomenal, incredible sound. -awesome remote control. -great menus, and lots of options.
Cons: -looks blurry when playing games, even with component cables. some games look good, others look awful and have funny flicker with bad geometry in the corners. Switched for a toshiba 27af44 and the games look good now...

Great Picture for decent priceby - September 1, 2004
Pros: Awesome pictur for the money. Very easy to use. Great sound for a 27' television.
Cons: Heavy, 16x9 function is a bit weird looking.
