Toshiba presents the 27D46 (27" diagonally measured) non-flat color television model. This model offers 480i display resolution with ColorStream inputs. The 27D46 comes with NTSC, ATSC and QAM tuning for digital cable in the clear. The model features surround sound, front and rear A/V inputs and comes equipped with a universal remote control.

Not the quality I would expect from Toshibaby jasonharper05 - December 28, 2006
Pros: Good Digital Picture
Cons: Changing channels has long delay; Remote stop working after first day.
Review:
I purchased this TV for my Grandmother to replace a 19" Zenith. A 27" TV might have been too big for her TV stand but I thought she would appreciate the larger screen size plus that it also would receive a digital picture. My pros...If you are able to pick up a digial signal, the picture looks great. The analog signal was acceptable. My Cons...What I didn't like was that the TV is so heavy in the front, it actually leaned forward preventing the TV from sitting on all four corners, which may be a safety concern if you have children who could bump the tv off the stand and fall over forward. The changing of channels is frustraiting because it takes atleast 2-3 seconds to appear to the next channel. It doesn't matter if your going from analog to digital or analog to analog, you might think the TV is not even working because sometimes it's so long. One more complaint....out of the box the remote did not work. We thought maybe it was the batteries and replaced them. No luck, the volume was the only key to work correctly. The rest were inoperable. In conclusion, it's a nice looking TV from the outside and the digital is great if you can get it to pick up for more than 5 minutes, but Toshiba needs to put in alot more engineering effort for this product before I ever buy another Toshiba product again.
