Toshiba 36HF73 (36" CRT TV)

I like Toshiba products and they often have better pricing.

The local TV shop had this TV tied up for 90 days trying to fix the arching issue. Finally got it fixed but then they screwed up the TV. They told me it was fixed and ready to be delivered...glad I went in first to verify as it wasn't. Seems to be an obvious communication issue between Toshiba and the repair shop as too often the wrong part was sent or only part of what was needed...hence the 90 days. It was a gamble but Costco has a full refund policy/no questions asked so it was a safe gamble. Toshiba sent a brand new replacement to my front door after a lot of phone time. Very difficult to speak to the same person at Toshiba. The new TV had some of the same issues though but much better on this set. For the price it's a winner. Will have to spring for HD cable. I was amazed a the quality of HD picture at the Costco store. Had researched this TV and found other people had similar problems but did not get the level of support I did or a replacement.
