Pros looks great inside and out., very little noise

Cons LG 6920ST Does not clean welll , it does not even remove the soap in the machine after a full cycle with 121 Deg.plus hot water, pot scubber iis the same, we have tried alll lof their suggetions with little effect. too weak

Summary the LG 6920st does not clean well 99% of the time, many times there is still soap on the door and dishes after a full cycle, even on pot scubber cycle iit does not clean well, LG SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON ITS LOOKS AND NOT ON THE POWER TO MAKE IT WORK WELL this machine is only 2 months old , it has not washed the dishes clean since we put it in, with soap and food still on dishes 99% of the time. we have called LG they have sent out repair people to fix it and replaced seveal parts on it with little effect. we belive these machines are under engineered and weak, our 8 yr old GE washer worked well until we put this LG in .would like to know these machines are going to be recallled. you cant telll a dish washer by iits cover

    Pros looks good

    Cons worst cleaning EVER

Summary we bought this machine at home depot on veteran's day in 2010. However, our kitchen remodel was delayed and it wasn't installed until 2/12. so it was out of warranty as soon as we first used it. NO problem right, its brand new. Wrong. nothing gets cleaned. I've heard of rinsing, but this machine really requires prewashing and then you're just hopeing that it sanitizes. that is if the soap rinses cleanly off of it. What a joke. uggggahhhhhh

Pros Leaks quietly. A good gift for your worst enemy.

Cons Bad exhaust design. Replacement after replacement, just give it 6 months and it is leaking again. A stimulis program for service and repair. Note - responsible for ruined floors or weeks out of service.

Summary Absolutely the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. If you feel life has just been to good, and you need balance, buy this.

  • "Do not buy this junk!"
    on by CrumSPC

Pros It's looks are the only pros.

Cons After four technicians and two months of the worst customer service in history, this dishwasher still does not work. No water, then no heat, then leaking, then tech broke mounting brackets off new cabinets pulling it out, and it still does not work!

    Summary Save yourself

  • "LG dishwasher LDF6920WW worst dishwasher I ever owned."
    on by geraldmcg

    Pros It's quiet.

Cons It doesn't clean dishes properly.

It requires you to manually pre-clean all the dishes and it still doesn't cleant them.

Water drains out of the unit right away, causing it to attempt to clean without water.

Customer service leaves you on hold

Summary The LG dishwasher (model number LDF6920WW)is by far the worst dishwasher I've ever owned. It's never cleaned the dishes properly. You can pre-wash the dishes before putting them in but it still doesn't clean them. It has some bizarre quirk of draining all the water and trying to clean without water! No wonder it has a stellar reputation for being so quiet. There is no water swishing around to make any noise!

We've had a technician come out 3 times already and none of them can fix it. Yet when I call LG customer service, their solution is to send out another technician. They said there is no lemon law and all they are obligated to do is send out technicians but not to fix it, just to send out technicians! Outrageous!!! They lied. They said if it didn't work the third time, they'd let me talk to their resolution department. But after it still didn't work the third time, they said they can't put me through to their resolution department unless I first talked to a supervisor. When I waited on hold for what seemed to be forever, the supervisor finally came on the line and started me at square one again, sending out a technician. LG? Life is Good? Perhaps they should change their slogan to: "When you own a 'Life's Good appliance' your life may become miserable."
