Pros: Fairly quiet

Cons: LG service is poor.

Summary: I used to think LG was good too, but this machine is less than 3 years old and lost power during a cycle, now I got nothing - not even an error message. Even if you're no longer under warranty and want to cut your ties to LG, forget it. If you have a favourite technician that you know and trust, forget about calling him, because he can't get parts -- LG forces you to use one of their authorized service companies, who have so far been decidedly unhelpful in setting up an appointment, and get very mixed reviews on line. Avoid LG.
