"Many Features But Difficult to Use"
Pros: Has every port you will ever need, e.g., parallel port, serial, 4 USB, Firewire, etc.
Cons: Difficult to align laptop to dock and just as difficult to disconnect. Toshiba recommends that you should not use any ports on the laptop when the port replicator is attached. I have use the serial port on the dock but so far have not been able to get a r

I too have experienced trouble docking my Tecra M4 to the Port Replicator III. There is a definite learning curve. Has anyone experienced any issues with the hinged doors that protect the dock port on many Toshiba portables? I will refrain from mentioning a specific issue until and unless I find that others have experienced the same thing as I.
